Deceptively Cute

We stopped at Deception Pass-which is BEAUTIFUL, a lot scary though-the drop from the bridge to the water is sooooooo far down. There is a whirlpool under the bridge too, so it's a little unnerving to be standing there looking at it. I kept my and my kids' distance from it and we stayed on the hiking trails nearby and took some pics of the little pills. I think my mom got some better shots-but look how cute they are in some more of their adorable fall clothes! It was pretty cold and rainy on the island, so we didn't get out too much while there to take pics like we wanted to, but this area was pretty sheltered with the trees-if any one wants to take a fun little road trip and see some beautiful sights, Whidbey island is only about 5 hours away.

In the Navy

We, (My mom, Tyler, me and the kids) visited my sister on the Navy Base on Whidbey Island this weekend. It's super pretty there and they have some yummy little restaraunts and darling little shops. The beach was right there and it was super fun to see Tabitha in her own cute little place. We got to see some jets and planes which the kids thought was super cool. It was a great weekend.
The road trip was a bit long-luckily we had the dvd player-and the kids were tired-they both took long naps in the car. Bekah is having more and more attitude lately, but I swear she gets cuter everyday! And I have never seen a cuter smile than that of my little happy boy-what a ham!

A boat living an alternative lifestyle

...because it's called a ferry-get it? Sorry old "family" joke!Bekah was terrified to get on the Mulketeo Ferry, and even more scared to get out and wander around until we got up to the top. She LOVED it-it was the highlight of the weekend for her and she hasn't stopped talking about it. She can't wait to go againTopher loved it too-he couldn't stop pointing and saying "Whoa!"

Day 1 of the new arrangement

Warning!!! Lot's of pictures of cute giggling and silly girls below!
My friend Janine Chambers and I made a new arrangement to swap babysitting once a week. She is a substitute teacher, and needs a sitter once a week, and I can't wait to have a day off from my kids once a week-so I think this will work out really well!
I get to watch her adorable girls Jordan and Jaycie so it is actually really fun. Jordan and Bekah get along really well (most of the time!) and Jaycie is just so cute and kissable and a really good baby-that it didn't seem like work at all! The only thing that was hard for me was getting up that early, (Janine had to be at the school at 7:30) and trying to stay awake in the afternoon when Christopher and Jaycie went down for their naps and Bekah and Jordan went outside to play. I had to keep myself busy by snapping pics of these giggly little buddies and laughing at their funny conversations and little quarrels. They are both oldest sisters, and have a little bit of a bossy attitude, (okay Bekah has a lotta bit of a bossy attitude)!
My kids will be at her house on Thursday-so I get to have some time to spend with Chad running errands, maybe going out marketing with him for work and finish up with an earlier trip to the temple than we are used to.
I think this is the beginning to a beautiful relationship...(Jaycie-I LOVE those big eyes and kissably soft cheeks-oh and you should see this girls chubby thighs-sooooooo cute! I love this girl!)

Still So In Love

WARNING: I may get a little mushy here!
Because of our blessed new arrangement with the Chambers, Chad and I were able to have a fabulous day to ourselves today. We went out and marketed for awhile for MyoMed, then went to an early dinner at Fridays. We finished up the night with a trip to the temple. It was so nice to just be alone with him today-where we could talk to eachother, hold hands and not have to answer a million questions from the kids and pass back treats-to feel like there was more to life than just being parents.
We have tried to go on a date at least once a week since we started dating and we have been pretty successful at it. It seems like lately we have had so much on our minds or something that even when we do go on dates-we haven't been focusing on eachother-we've been focusing on money, or buying a house, or kids, or work or whatever.
Today was one of those days that reminded me how much I am still in love with my Chaddy. I still get butterflies sometimes before he kisses me, and sometimes I can just stare into those blue eyes forever-well today I felt like that all day, not just sometimes-I could just breathe him in all day. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, romantic guy who can still turn me to mush with one of his smiles. I love you punkin bum!

You should be on a magazine

Chad thinks this kid should be on a magazine cover with his cute new fall apparel-what do you think?

Lil Fashionista

Sooooo....my kids were in desperate need of fall clothing and I was trying to figure out how to squeeze that into the budget along with all the other stuff that has seem to come up this month-(just like every month) and low and behold-Super Mom to the rescue! She bought Bekah a grundle of clothes for school and Topher enough to keep him warm this fall too-so be on the lookout for lots of cute outfit pics over the next couple weeks! Here is my little poser in front of a door at the library. Thank you, thank you, thank you mom-you always come through when I need it the most-and if it wasn't for you I'm sure my kids would be naked half the time!
By the way! If you would like to see where these adorable outfits came from-(at fantastic prices too)-the link is here .

Storytime

We made it to the last part of storytime today, I was so mad at myself for forgetting again! I think about it all week and then Thursday finally comes along and I totally space it until it's either over or too late to leave-well today I decided I was going anyway even though we were 20 minutes late. The kids didn't seem to know that we were late, and had lots of fun, and that's all that counts right?

Teamwork

We had a playdate today at OMSI, Mandy called me about an hour before-and lazy us were still all in our jammies-but we got it all together and met her, Heather, Emalie and MaryKaye for an afternoon of fun.
Taylor, Abagayle and Bekah had a great time working together to pull these buckets up and down, this entertained them for most of the time we were there!

Family (fall 2006)

I finally scrapped this picture from last year tonight.
