September 23, 2014 at 10:08PM 5th grade! And now I feel old. I remember 5th grade vividly, and it doesn't seem so long ago...how is it I have a 5th grader of my own? Time, you are a cruel beast. (I wanted to call it a bad word, but my before mentioned 5th grader has an instagram account and can read...I don't want to get in trouble by the bad word police). Love this beautiful girl and her sweetness, couldn't have asked for a more precious child than this one! ❤

May 11, 2014 at 01:47PM Porter. My little shy mischief maker! You are a quiet, but born leader. People are drawn to you...and with your crazy hair brained ideas, that can be a bad thing sometimes! You are my little thrill junkie, and I love all of our little conversations about all the adventures you want to take. You are always there for me with a compliment and to let me know how to accessorize for the day. I love you Portatort!
May 11, 2014 at 01:42PM Christopher. Most of my gray hairs are caused by you. You have scared me in ways I never knew I could be scared and some days I feel like you're going to drive me to drink with your sensitivities and agendas. But my sweet little boy, you are always there to give me a hug and a smile through it all. You love me through my shortcomings, and I really couldn't love you any more than I do. I love you Toph stuff.

April 28, 2014 at 01:07AM Chip was adorable with the kids, but perhaps the best part of the night was the people behind him. They were chipmunk obsessed! They pulled out all sorts of chip and dale stuff, they squealed, they hugged, they took like 100 pics and even gave them gifts. No kids, just grown adults FREAKING out over these characters. #hysterical #hewlettcali2014 #chipIknowwhereyousleep #yousmelllikedreamsdale

April 06, 2014 at 06:08PM This little chicky amazes me! She can totally hear songs and figure out how to play them. Her most recent trick is learning to play the second hand on songs that she can read the first hand of. Not sure if I explained that right, I can only listen to music. She just blows me away with all of her natural talents. This girl will change the world for the better, of that I am certain. She is the song in mine. πΆ

Understandable
One of my favorite milestones is when my babies start understanding what I am saying.
The other day I was talking to Chad on the phone when he was leaving school, I told Porter that Daddy was on his way home.
He quickly crawled over to the couch, and climbed up to the window.
Porter is my daddy's boy.
They just have a special bond, and have had one, since I brought Porter home from the hospital.
Chad has been going to school now for just over a week and Porter has been an even bigger stinker than usual, and just clings to Chad when he comes home.
He sat there and waited and waited and pounded on the window saying dad dad dad.
It was so cute, I had to take some pictures.
It's understandable why he loves and misses his daddy so much-he is pretty fantastic.
I just love that he understands me now, it is fun to see his face light up when I talk to him about things.
One other thing he understands is Albertsons Bakery.
It is rather funny, but obnoxious, every time we go in, he gets all excited and starts grunting like a caveman and pointing in the direction of the bakery.
I take the kids over and the older ones ask politely for a cookie, and this little cute monster baby sticks out his hand-yells "COOOOOOKKKKIE!!!!" and then yells "arrrrrrrrr" until the baker hands him one.
Then he smiles sweetly and stuffs his face.
The lady thinks he's so adorable...he is...but I am trying to teach him to not scream for things and to say please and thank you (which he can-he just chooses to scream instead).
Understandable-he gets his way a lot quicker with everyone but me, by screaming his desires.
See I told you he understands.

Dental cleaning day! 3/4 had no cavities, can you guess who does? It's Christopher, it's always Christopher! That kid HATES brushing and flossing. Major fights, wailing and gnashing of dirty teeth have occurred over this kid and his dental hygiene. Grrrr.
March 3, 2014
Christopher made a robot arm for art today out of things found in the recycle bin...and a maraca. Because he needed a muscle. :)

After church play dough time with quiet naughty and noisy naughty! These two make church...interesting.
It's pretty fantastic when your kids genuinely like each other! These two never fight and always are planning something. Their latest idea has been planning a restaurant. Love them!

Red robin time! Starting off Christopher's birthday week at our favorite (family) restaurant!
Embarrassed but loving the attention of the pretty waitresses singing happy birthday.
